Who this is for
Agencies and freelancers often end up as accidental hosting companies. You built a site, the client asked you to host it, and five years later you're looking after forty sites on a server you'd rather not think about. When something breaks at 9pm, it's your phone that rings.
We've been in that position ourselves since 2006. White-label hosting lets you hand the server work to us while you keep the clients, the billing and the creative work.
What we take off your plate
- The server: operating system, Plesk, PHP, database and web server updates.
- Security: firewall, brute-force protection, malware scanning and hardening. See website security.
- Backups: daily, with restores when you need them.
- DNS: zones in Cloudflare, including email authentication records.
- SSL: issued and renewed automatically for every domain.
- Migration: we move your client sites in planned batches.
How we usually set it up
The right setup depends on how many sites you have and how busy they are. Typical options:
- A dedicated Plesk VPS for your agency, with each client in its own subscription so their files, databases and PHP versions are separate. See managed VPS.
- A dedicated server for larger portfolios or heavy shops. See dedicated servers.
- Individual Complete Hosting plans for agencies with only a handful of sites, where £1 a day + VAT per site is simplest.
You can have Plesk access for your team, and give clients their own logins if you want them to have one.
What we'll ask you
- How many sites, and which platforms: WordPress, WooCommerce, Laravel, custom PHP?
- Which PHP versions do they need today, and are any very old?
- Rough traffic, and which sites are busiest or most important?
- Do you host client email, or do clients use Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace?
- Who should we talk to when there's a problem: you or the client?
- Do you need staging environments or Git deployment?

Frequently asked questions
What is white-label hosting?
White-label hosting is where a hosting company runs the servers while an agency presents the hosting to its clients under its own name. The agency keeps the client relationship; the host handles servers, security and backups. dijitul offers this to UK agencies on a quoted basis.
Should a web agency host its clients' websites?
Hosting gives agencies recurring income and control, but running servers takes time and creates out-of-hours risk. Many agencies keep the client relationship and outsource the server work to a managed host such as dijitul.
How much does agency hosting cost?
It depends on the number of sites, traffic and support level. A small portfolio might suit individual £1 a day + VAT plans; larger ones usually suit a managed VPS or dedicated server. dijitul quotes after seeing your site list.
Can my clients have their own control panel logins?
Yes. On a Plesk server each client site can sit in its own subscription with its own login, so clients only see their own files, databases and settings. Your agency can keep an overall login.
Will my clients know dijitul hosts their site?
Not unless you tell them. With white-label hosting, dijitul works behind the scenes and you remain the point of contact. If you'd rather we support clients directly, we can do that too.
Can you migrate all my client sites at once?
We migrate in planned batches, testing each site before switching DNS, so nothing breaks and you're not overwhelmed. Sites with old PHP or unusual requirements are handled individually. Timings are agreed in your quote.
