What managed hosting means at dijitul
Managed hosting means somebody else looks after the server so you don't have to. With dijitul, that somebody is a UK web agency that has been building and hosting websites since 2006. We keep the operating system and server software patched, watch for problems, and fix them when they happen.
You still keep control. You get your own Plesk login, so you can open the file manager, run phpMyAdmin, switch PHP versions, add cron jobs and download backups whenever you like. The difference is that you never have to log in at all if you don't want to.
