Hosting for Preston businesses
Preston became a city in 2002 and is the administrative centre of Lancashire, home to Lancashire County Council. It grew as a cotton town, and the Preston Guild, a celebration held once every 20 years, dates back centuries. The University of Central Lancashire has a large campus in the city centre and contributes thousands of students and graduates.
The area around Preston is a centre for aerospace and nuclear engineering. BAE Systems builds and works on military aircraft at nearby Samlesbury and Warton, and the Springfields nuclear fuel site is just outside the city. That creates a big supply chain of engineering, machining and specialist service firms.
Preston's market, shops and the surrounding Ribble Valley's food and hospitality businesses complete the picture. Whatever the business, dijitul provides managed hosting remotely: migration, PHP updates, SSL, Cloudflare DNS and daily backups for a single price.
